Relive Savannah’s greatest film moments!

From the Silent Film Era with Valentino and Pickford to later greats, like Robert Mitchum, Glenn Close, Burt Reynolds, John Travolta, Matt Damon, and Tom Hanks, to Directors John Huston, Robert Redford and Clint Eastwood, the charm of Savannah has called to many since the start of film itself!

No ordinary movie tour host!

Your host, Shannon Scott, has spent 30 years around Savannah and Georgia’s Film & TV industry with his first “gig” as an extra in the Savannah-based film “Love Crimes” with Sean Young. As modern Hollywood rediscovered Savannah, Shannon became sought after by those from The West Coast in search of stories and settings. Appearing in various productions, especially those with a Savannah or Low Country focus, by age 30, Shannon was trusted to coordinate the filming, even “starring” in the pilot episode of “Scariest Places On Earth” with Linda Blair, spending 2 years working for the series. As performers and storytellers are drawn to each other, Shannon found his way around movie sets like Glory, 1969, Forrest Gump, Midnight In The Garden of Good and Evil, Forces of Nature, and The Gift, spending time with directors and actors alike. Eventually, Shannon — along with “Hollywood Ron” Higgins — financed, produced, and filmed “America’s Most Haunted City,” all about Savannah. As of 2023, Shannon sits at the helm of his life-inspired series Grave Talks with Shannon Scott.”
